Rusted lid

A metal lid left outdoors for a few seasons, photographed flat from above in overcast light, so there are no hard shadows. The rings and the dark pitting in the centre give a texture with a clear focal point, but the edges are flat and even, so the file tiles and overlays well. In a layout, multiply it over a flat colour or use it at 20 percent opacity behind type.
